Brady, TX

The unique station at Brady, TX once served both the Gulf Colorado & Santa Fe and the Frisco. R.J. McKay photographed the depot in service in January 1977.

Twenty years later, the depot was in private hands as an art gallery and studio when the view below was recorded. A locomotive of the Gulf Colorado & San Saba RR, which took over Santa Fe's San Saba Sub from Lometa to Brady, can be seen on the left. Photo by Jim King, July 1997.
