Burdett, KS

By 1990, the Burdett depot had been moved, along with most of the other depots from the Jetmore branch, to a site north of Dodge City along US-283. Little has been done with the structures since. Burdett was essentially a "1910" #2 standard for branch lines, but had a few unusual features including the raised freight door on the rear of the building. Note also the tin shingle roof. The building was one of several Santa Fe depots in the area that received an unbecoming green and white paint scheme in the 1970's.
