| This handsome frame depot served Santa Fe's Elsinore branch from 1896 until 1968. Today it serves as the local Chamber of Commerce. Modifications over the years saw the removal of extended eaves and an open waiting area, but surprisingly, the depot is still on its original site. The Santa Fe tracks ran down the middle of the street in the foreground. Photo by Chuck Clope. |
