Garden City, KS |
---|
Garden City was one of several brick "county seat" depots built to this attractive plan between 1906 and 1908. It originally had a covered "carriage porch" on the rear, but this was removed in 1957. This 2004 photo shows the results of renovations completed in 2002. The depot serves Amtrak's Southwest Chief, and BNSF also uses a portion of the structure. Photo by Gregory Campbell, 2004. |
