Hillside and Drake, AZ

The 16x52-foot Drake, AZ depot was built in 1901 by the Santa Fe Prescott & Phoenix. It's utilitarian architecture was thankfully not duplicated when the 12x48-foot Hillside, AZ depot was built the following year. By the 1990's, both buildings had been moved to Prescott, AZ along Iron Springs Road. Hillside serves as a restaurant, while Drake is an antiques shop. Both structures wear their "final" Santa Fe paint schemes of red with white trim, a "local standard" of sorts for this part of the Coast Lines.
