Hoehnes, CO

The Hoehnes, CO depot was a near-perfect example of a "1910" standard #1 for branchlines, one of several on the line from Trinidad to La Junta. It was retired in 1967 and subsequently moved to a nearby backyard in Hoehnes, where these opposite corner views were recorded in 1992.
Some time later, the depot was moved to a site south of Texas Creek, CO, where it was restored as part of a private collection. Mark Roper recorded this view of the depot in May 2000.
