Killeen, TX

Killeen had a typical large Gulf Colorado & Santa Fe frame depot. R.J. McKay stopped by and recorded these two images in 1974 and 1981. Note the modern train order signal in front of the bay window.
The depot was saved by the community and moved a short distance from the railroad to become the Chamber of Commerce and a visitors' bureau.
