Rozel, KS

In 1979, there were four open agencies on the Larned District: Rozel, Burdett, Hanston, and Jetmore. All were closed in the early 1980's. The depots from the latter three locations wound up in a field north of Dodge City, KS, but Rozel found its way to Ellinwood, where it now serves as a tasting room for the Dozier Vineyard & Winery. The depot was an example of the very common pre-1910 24'x42' standard plan. Photo courtesy Tim Dozier.
