A troubled economy

You know you're getting cheap tie plates when they say "Economy" and the N is backwards. This plate was supporting ex-Santa Fe rails in Exeter, CA on a surviving but dormant fragment of the railroad's San Joaquin Valley branch lines. Must have fished it out of bargin bin.
