Sign crews from Utah? |

Out on the old Albuquerque Division, at a very scenic location near the pueblo of Mesita, Santa Fe had a location named Marmon. The railroad must have hired sign painters from Utah at some point, as the worn paint on the station sign above reveals that it was originally lettered "Mormon."By the way, Santa Fe DID have a location named Mormon in California. It was and still is the site of the classification yard in Stockton, CA. |
