Near the Santa Fe depot in La Junta, CO, this elevator uses former Santa Fe class Ga-160 307178, an ACF four bay centerflow covered hopper as, well, a hopper. The gravity-defying appearance of the setup, and the question of how they got it up there, suggests one of the other possible meanings of "hopper."
