Santa Fe SPSF SD45 5402

SD45 5402 was the third Santa Fe locomotive repainted in SPSF colors, and the first to wear the "final" version of the scheme, with three stripes in the noseband and the black roofline extending down just to the bottom of the dynamic brake blister. The locomotive received the scheme when it was rebuilt in September of 1985. The pictures show the unit as it looked (above) in February and (below) May 1986.
