A railroad's structures lend character to the property much as the locomotives and trains
themselves do. As the years have passed, many structures once associated with the Santa Fe
have gradually vanished from the right of way. The pages listed below aren't formal "survivors
lists" such as those on the main page of this site, but rather galleries that present samples of
various types of Santa Fe structures. They offer brief glimpses of some (hopefully) interesting
Santa Fe buildings that survived into the 1980's and 90's - buildings once common but now rare
thanks to advancing technology and "progress."
