| Ce-2 class 999400 and Ce-1 class 999072 are two of the five ex-ATSF cabooses, and a like number of Southern Pacific bay window hacks, that belong to the Featherbed Railroad Company Bed & Breakfast Resort in Nice, CA near the shore of Clear Lake. With the exception of a few more windows, the exteriors of the cars are essentially as-was. The interiors, though, have been extensively remodeled, with large beds and even jacuzzis in some cases. The cars are all named - the 999400 is named "Orient Express," while the 999072 is the "Wine Country." |
