Fargo, OK |

| The "Perryton" signboard notwithstanding, the depot from Fargo, OK is a well preserved example of an "1895" standard Santa Fe depot. It was built in 1900 and managed to survive with few modifications until its retirement in 1979. It was moved to Perryton, TX for display at the Museum of the Plains, where it is shown in 1995. Note the drop siding, typical of Santa Fe frame depots in Oklahoma, and also that the freight room floor is at ground level, obviating the need for a freight platform. The pole-mounted paddle orderboard in front of the bay is from the REAL Perryton, TX depot. |
