Moody, TX

A classic long GC&SF frame depot, Moody is preserved in Temple, TX at the Railroad and Heritage Museum, along with ATSF 4-6-2 3424 and various other artifacts. This is the street side of the depot; the bay window is located on the opposite side. The structure was photographed on the last day of 1998 by Hume Kading. The museum also owns Temple's Santa Fe depot and ATSF HH600 2301.
R.J. McKay photographed the Moody depot in 1973, not long after it was moved to the museum site in Temple. In 2001, the museum moved its collection, including the Moody depot, to a new site near the restored Santa Fe Temple depot.
