Roswell, NM

The final depot at Roswell reflected an extensive 1949 rebuild and enlargement of a brick depot built in 1905. Few traces of the original, hip roofed, dormered depot remained, though it might be argued that the flat-roof and stucco were more appropriate for a southwestern depot. Unfortunately, the passenger section succumbed to fire in late 2001. A portion of the freight room reportedly remains on-site.
