San Saba, TX freight depot

San Saba once had a brick passenger depot similar to Brady. By the time R.J. McKay stopped by in 1974, the passenger depot was gone and the train order office had been moved to the nearby freight depot. The train order signal stood across the tracks from the depot. The agency closed in 1976, and in 1985 the freight house was moved to a site west of Austin, TX along US-290.
