The Stafford depot was built to a brick county seat plan shared by the depots at Waynoka and Norman, OK and Kingman, KS, among others. At some point, the open waiting room was apparently converted into a freight room, complete with elevated freight doors and a freight platform. The depot was no longer an agency, but was still in use by the railroad when it was photographed in 1990. |
